It is another incentive for those players that gaijin makes huge profits on to further grind/buy their collection of planes even when they only or mostly play tank battles in the first place. You might be thinking that has nothing to do with removing airplanes, but its the exact reason it will never be seen as an issue.
Gaijin will never stop catering to those cancerous players and they will release new content for them to purchase/grind rather than fixing any issues the game has with balancing. Even without planes, have fun playing against some dude who knows every spot of the maps and tryhards the same tank/plane, some of which you might not be able to get because they are premium (unless you wanna spent outrageous amounts of money or grind for a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unit). The game is designed around addicts with thousands of hours and/or dollars spend.
Ild love that too but it will never happen.
